New Jersey  resident John Wilson, who happens to suffer with MS (multiple sclerosis), was charged with growing marijuana in the backyard of his home…HIS HOME! Now he may be facing a maximum of 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in February on a split verdict delivered Thursday afternoon by a Somerset County jury.

Marijuana Medicine Evaluation Centers

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment … estimated that 30,000 people have applied for medical marijuana cards in Colorado and that number is growing exponentially every day.

According to the latest data from the Medical Marijuana Registry, as of December 15th, a total of 820 licensed physicians had authorized medical marijuana for 15,800 patients. Of those 820 physicians, just 15 accounted for 73 percent of total patients, and just five have authorized 49-percent of all recommendations.

Really 74%...?

Well, Well, Well, L.A. D. A. Cooley seems a little bit out of touch (shocking) with the voting public in Los Angeles County…according to the L.A. Times yesterday. Around 74%  of the polled public support Medical Marijuana, as well as people having free and unfettered access to their Medical Cannabis Collectives for purchasing their medical marijuana.

In a day and age when opening the average person medicine cabinet, you would find: Oxycontin, Valume, Demerol, Codeine and Dilaudid just to name a few, that Medical Marijuana is the one demon drug that deserves all of the attention the D.A. Cooley wants to give it. This man is living so far in that past that its pathetic that the general public has to tolerate his ignorance.

The Fed’s will issue new Medical Marijuana  guidelines to federal prosecutors Monday. These new guidelines will suggest that it’s not a good use of time to go after users and distributors of medical marijuana in the 14 states that allow such usage, while encouraging that illegal pot operations involving violence, firearms and sale to minors still be pursued.

The AP reported the following states, and their A.G., as well as top officials at the FBI and DEA, will be receiving the three-page Justice Department memo outlining the new policy. Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

While our past president George W. Bush (looser) had the Fed’s wasting tax payers money on going after medical marijuana dispensaries for violating federal law despite state laws allowing cannabis for medical use.
